Why do you recommend this kind of vitamin B12?
We chose cyanocobalamin for a few reasons. Studies show cyanocobalamin is often better absorbed than the methyl version (although age and genetics may impact absorption in general).
Additionally, cyanocobalamin enters the body and can be converted into 2 active forms of B12 - methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin - both of which are needed by the body to thrive.
The supplement form of methylcobalamin doesn't raise adenosylcobalamin levels.
